Register for your PVC
Visit your nearest INEC office or registration point with a valid ID. Capture biometrics and collect your registration slip.

Use the INEC Voter Information Portal (voters.inec.gov.ng) to locate your polling unit and confirm your registration.

Vote on election day
Arrive early. Show your PVC, verify with the BVAS, thumb-print your ballot, drop it in the box, and stay to witness counting.

Defend your vote
Stay peaceful, document irregularities, share verified information, and report through official INEC channels.

- Who is eligible to vote in Nigeria?
- Any Nigerian citizen aged 18 or above, registered with INEC and possessing a Permanent Voter Card (PVC).
- I have lost my PVC. What do I do?
- Report immediately at your INEC LGA office. You can apply for a replacement using your registration slip details.
- Can I vote in any polling unit?
- No. You may only vote at the polling unit assigned to you during registration.
- What can I bring with me on voting day?
- Your PVC and any face mask, hat, or umbrella to make the wait comfortable. Phones are allowed but do not photograph other people's ballots.
