Biography
Hon. Chief Mrs Yetunde Babajide is one of the most respected voices in South-West political mobilization. As Iyalode of Ojodu Land, she serves as the principal female custodian of cultural and communal life in her domain — a position she leverages to advance the cause of women, youth and grassroots inclusion.
Her political journey spans decades of dedicated party service, from ward-level organizing to coordinating South-West women's outreach for major progressive campaigns. She founded the Renewed Hope Total Support Loyalty Group to channel that energy into direct support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Leadership philosophy
"Lead by listening, serve before being seen." Chief Mrs Babajide insists that true leadership begins in the homes, markets and streets — not the headlines. Her work focuses on tangible impact: scholarships, medical outreach, leadership training and consistent voter education.
Community service
Beyond party work, she funds personal scholarships for indigent students, sponsors medical outreaches in Ojodu and surrounding communities, and provides start-up support for women's cooperatives. Her annual end-of-year welfare drive has reached thousands of households.
